Punks is written by critically acclaimed comics scribe, Joshua Hale Fialkov (Elk’s Run, Western Tales of Terror), with art by Kody Chamberlain (Tag, 30 Days of Night: Bloodsucker Tales), and I can tell you honestly, like it or hate it, Punks is like nothing else out there right now.
With art reminiscent of punk rock show flyers and a surrealistic humor that will appeal to fans of both SouthPark and Squee! (and perhaps even channeling a little Monty Python?), the book introduces us to four roommates who must battle alien robots, undead carrots — and some other things probably best left unprinted! — while constantly fighting one another.
