Couple of quick updates.
We just added the new Winter Special comic to the Punks Store, so if you can't find it at your local shop, pop in on the store and grab a copy.
For all the designers out there, flip through the latest copy of PRINT magazine, Punks got a nice write up in the F.O.B. section.
Kristian Donaldson posted a little three step blog about his pin-up for the latest book. It's always cool to see a bit of behind the scenes info.

We just launched the BETA version of the online store. It seems to be working properly, so give it a try. Please let us know if you have any trouble.

Just got word that Punks should be hitting comic shops on Wednesday Aug 29. If for some reason your shop doesn't get a copy we will be adding an online store to the Punks website in a couple of days. Just need a little more time to get the bugs worked out. In the meantime, keep an eye on the website for updates. |

 Head on over to Newsarama and read the brand spanking new interview with me and Josh. Lots of info in there about the history of the project and some notes on the art technique. There's also a frightening amount of insight into the mind of Fialkov. The guy is pure evil.

What is Punks? |
Punks is written by critically acclaimed comics scribe, Joshua Hale Fialkov (Elk’s Run, Western Tales of Terror), with art by Kody Chamberlain (Tag, 30 Days of Night: Bloodsucker Tales), and I can tell you honestly, like it or hate it, Punks is like nothing else out there right now.
With art reminiscent of punk rock show flyers and a surrealistic humor that will appeal to fans of both SouthPark and Squee! (and perhaps even channeling a little Monty Python?), the book introduces us to four roommates who must battle alien robots, undead carrots — and some other things probably best left unprinted! — while constantly fighting one another. It’s a laugh-riot, it’s a visual mind-trip, it’s… well, it’s Punks! |
